Tibet’s Cultural Heritage Experience Park Project Launched

The project has been successfully built on the foundations of the large-scale Tibetan cultural epic “Princess Wencheng” and Tsechelin Tibetan courtyard-style street in order to dig deeper into the Tibetan intangible cultural heritage.

The park covers a total floor space of more than 160,000 square meters and will be built with a total investment of one billion yuan(154.6 million dollars). The “Princess Jincheng” indoor stage production bases on the story of Princess Jincheng as the background for the story, creating a refined cultural interpretation of the play. The production plans to be officially launched in 2016, creating another symbolic cultural project for Tibetan tourism.

Princess Jincheng(698-739 A.D.) married to the king of Tubo Kingdom Tride Tsugtsen in 710, which had made contributions to the friendly relations between the Tang Dynasty(618-907) and the Tubo.
