  • Day 1 Kathmandu to Gyirong (210km)

    Our local operator will pick up from your hotel in Kathmandu and get together around 6:00 am, and then we will drive from Kathmandu to Rashuwaghadi (the border between China-Nepal),en-route,you’ll enjoy the marvelous scenery along the way, the rush green mountains, valleys,rivers,etc. After immigration formalities at Gyrong port,you will meet our Tibetan tour guide and driver, then continue drive to Gyrong town. Stay overnight in local guesthouse in the Gyirong (2700m)

  • Day 2 Gyirong to Tingri Mt.Everest Base Camp (300km)
    Meals: B, L

    After the breakfast, you will get transferred from Gyirong to Old Tingri (4300m). On the way, you will enjoy the beautiful view of Mt. Everest (considering the increasing high altitude from 2700m to 5200 of the EBC, we arrange the Everest view on the way and the sightseeing stand near Old Tingri instead of Mt.Everest base camp)

  • Day 3 Tingri to Shigatse
    Meals: B, L

    Today you will travel from Tingri to Shigatse. After we arrive in Shigatse, we will visit Tashilumpo monastery. It is the seat of Panchen Lama, the Tibet’s second highest Buddha incarnation. There we can also see the largest statue of the future Buddha in the world, it is called Jampa Buddha. Stay overnight in Shigatse

  • Day 4 Shigatse to Lhasa via Gyantse (375km)
    Meals: B, L

    After the breakfast, we will drive from Shigatse to Gyantse first. There we will visit Khumbum, Palkhor Chode Monastery  and magnificient vista of Gyangtse Fortress. Then, we drive 280km to Lhasa, en-route we will pass Manak Dam Lake, we will have a stop and you can enjoy the good view or hang pray flag at Simila Mountain Pass; This afternoon, we will have a close view of Korola Glacier on the roadside; and enjoy the wonderful view of Yamdrok Lake, one of the most sacred lakes in Tibet.   • Day 5 Lhasa
    Meals: B, L

    Today's tour will first bring you to the Potala Palace which is the winter palace of the Dalai lama. It was put to use since the 7th Century by the 33rd great king of Tibet. The most valuable collections of Potala Palace are the gilded burial stupas of former Dalai Lamas and meditation Cave of the 33rd great king of Tibet.

        Then after lunch, tourists head to Jokhang temple which was founded by the 33rd great king of Tibet in the 7th century. Inside you can see the statue of Buddha Sakyamuni at the age of twelve. Outside, you can see pilgrims making prostrating in front of Jokhang Temple. Around the temple is Barkhor street, where you can do kora (a religious circle of a building or mountain) with pilgrims and locals, and explore the old market. Stay overnight in Lhasa.

  • Day 6 Lhasa
    Meals: B, L

    In the morning ,you are going to visit Drepung monastery which is one of the “great three” Gelug monasteries of Tibet, founded in 1416 by Jamyang choge, one of the Tsongkhapa’s main disciples. In the Afternoon, Tourists will visit Sera Monastery which is another one of the “great three” Gelug monasteries of Tibet. The hot attraction is the Monks debate at around 3 - 5 in the afternoon.   • Day 7 Lhasa/Chengdu
    Meals: B, L

    After breakfast, you will take a morning flight to Chengdu. Upon arrival, you will be transfered to visit Chengdu Big Panda Breeding Center, to see lovely Panda. Then a walk around  Kuanzai Alley in Chengdu city.

  • Day 8 Chengdu/Leshan/Mt. Emei
    Meals: L

    After breakfast, will transfer you to visit Huanglongxi Ancient Town which has 1,700 years of history. Then take bus to Leshan, to see the world's largest stone Giant Buddha. Then visit the Lingyun Temple, the ancient Plank Cliff Path and the Stele Forest. After visiting will take bus to Emeishan, stay overnight at the foot of Mount. Emei.

  • Day 9 Mt. Emei/Chengdu
    Meals: B, L

    After breakfast will take cable car up the Mt. Emei. Visit the Wannian Temple. Then walk through Qingyin Pavilion - the biggest natural ecology reserve area for monkeys. Then take the tourist bus down to the foot of the mountain. To visit the Fuhu Temple, one of famous nuns temple. After visiting will transfer you back to Chengdu to visit Jinsha Museum.

  • Day 10 Chengdu Departure

    After breakfast, you have a free relax until a transfer to the airport for your final to next destination.

Transportation cost covers all the domestic airfare of economy class with airport tax, train tickets between the cities as the itinerary specified.


Transfer between airports, railway station, hotels and scenic spots for sightseeing around the cities that are specified by the itinerary with private air conditioned vehicle with driver and English-speaking guide. Separate arrivals and departures will incur extra charges.


Entrance Fees:

All entrance fees to the scenic spots listed in the itinerary. The final arrangement will be determined by private tour guides depends on the real-time local circumstances wheather are beyond the control of Access China Travel. We will adhere to the original itinerary as accurately as possible.


Normal Meals:

All normal meals as the itinerary specified: B = breakfast, L = Lunch, D = dinner in local restaurant. Breakfasts are served in hotel, breakfasts have Chinese or Western style for your option; Lunches are served in carefully selected quality local Chinese restaurants with best service, your lunches will be ordered by your guide catering to your preferences within normal standard. Dinners as the itinerary specified will be also served in local Chinese restaurants. The meal quotation is normalized. If you have any special request about meals, like vegetarian, famous rare dishes, Indian food or more, please inform us in advance. For the unspecified dinners, you will have dinner on your own. Feel free to ask your local guide for suggestions or recommendation.


Private Sightseeing Escort:

Normal sightseeing activities as the itinerary listed will be escorted with English-speaking guide. The English-speaking guide and driver in each city are with you throughout the entire itinerary around that city. They do not fly with you from one city to another.


Hotel Accommodation:

Hotel service criterion: two adults share on one standard twin/double-bed room; solo traveler who want to occupy one twin/double-bed room assigned is required for extra single supplement rate. A single room is available on prior request at an additional cost; if a recommended hotel unavailable, it will be replaced by one of the same class. All hotels as the itinerary listed serve daily western or Chinese breakfast. All rooms are air-conditioned with private facilities unless specified.
