  • Day 1 Arrival in Chengdu

     Welcome to Sichuan. Upon arrival at Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport, your local guide and driver cordially welcome you and pick you up to Emei Moutain. Freshen up and relax at a tranquil hotel in the Taoist Mountain for overnight stay.

     

     

     

     

  • Day 2 Mt. Emei

    Visited: Emei Mountain,

    Your full day tour start with a morning visit to Wannian Temple of Mt. Emei, where it takes you 25 minutes' by tourist bus to the parking lot. Then you will take the cable car up, visit Wannian Temple, walk through Qingyin Pavilion - the biggest natural ecology reserve area for monkeys, till you get to Wuxiangang parking lot to take the tourist bus down to the foot of the mountain. Vegetarian feast at Wannian Temple is recommended.

     

     

     

     

  • Day 3 Mt. Emei/Leshan/Chengdu
    Meals: B, L, D
    Visited: Leshan Giant Buddha,

    Monrning transfer to Leshan to see the world's largest stone Giant Buddha and then visit the Lingyun Temple, the ancient Plank Cliff Path and the Stele Forest. Drive back to Chengu. Sichuan Hotpot is recommended.

     

     

     

  • Day 4 Chengdu
    Meals: B, L, D
    Visited: Jinli Old Street,

    A morning flight back to Chengdu. Then continue about 40 km to Sanxingdui Museum, where the ruins are known as the world's ninth wonder. The cultural remains excavated from the ruins record the history of more than 5,000 years ago. Later, transfer to Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding to see the adorable panda bears. Drive back to Chengdu, and have a walk on the Jinli Old Street to experience Chengdu people's leisure life.

    Optional night show: Sichuan Opera (about 1.5 hours at a teahouse with the wonderful face-changing)

     

     

     

     

  • Day 5 Chengdu/Dujiangyan/Chengdu
    Meals: B, L, D
    Visited: Dujiangyan Irrigation System, Qingchengshan Mountain,

    A morning drive to Mt. Qingcheng for a pilgrimage to Taoist Holy Mountain Qingcheng, then proceed to Dujiangyan Irrigation Project to see the aqueduct used for more than 2200 years. Afterwards transfer back to Chengdu.

     

     

     

     

  • Day 6 Chengdu/Langzhong

    Visited: Langzhong Ancient City,

    After breakfast, you will a 3.5 hours' morning drive to Langzhong city on the Jialing River. Its main attraction is the ancient town, a mostly unadulterated section of ancient architecture, closed to vehicle traffic. The town is famous as the abode and headquarters of Zhangfei, a notable emperor during the Period of Three Kingdom. There are also some hiking and sightseeing opportunities in the surrounding area. Langzhong's size and offerings makes for an ideal weekend trip, but could host several days of sightseeing, especially for those interested in classical Chinese culture and architecture.

     

     

     

     

  • Day 7 Langzhong/Chengdu

    Continue a morning sighseeing around Langzhong Ancient Town. In the late afternoon, drive 3.5 hours back to Chengdu

     

     

  • Day 8 Chengdu/Xiling Snow Mountain
    Meals: B, L, D
    Visited: Du Fu Thatched Cottage, Xiling Snow Mountain, Wuhou Memorial Temple,

    A morning visit to Wuhou Temple, Dufu's Thatched Cottage, Wide and Narrow Alley or local culture experience. In the late afternoon, you will be driven 2-3 hours to Huashuiwan for stay overnight, at the foot of Xiling Snow Mountain.

     

     

     

     

  • Day 9 Xiling Snow Mountain

    Visited: Xiling Snow Mountain,

    Take cable car up for morning sighteeing of sunrise and cloud sea on the Xiling Snow Mountain. Later come the ski resort to enjoy some interesting activities, such as snowmobile driving (10 minutes), sleighing, hot air ballooning, flying saucer, skiing at your own expense etc. Please note: Skiing and more winter activities from December to February and Grass sliding and more summer entertainment from March to October.

    "Through the window come a view of firn on the Xiling mountain; near the door anchor the ships from distant "Eastern Wu Kingdom" was praised by Du Fu (Famous Chinese poet of the Tang Dynasty). So that the Xiling snow got its fame since then.

    After dinner, a night spa in Huashuiwan Hot Spring Resort is recommended.

     

     

     

     

  • Day 10 Chengdu/Departure
    Meals: B

    Pay a morning visit for sightseeing in Riyueping. After lunch, your guide will meet you and you will be driven to the Chengdu airport to take the flight to your next destination.

Transportation cost covers all the domestic airfare of economy class with airport tax, train tickets between the cities as the itinerary specified.


Transfer between airports, railway station, hotels and scenic spots for sightseeing around the cities that are specified by the itinerary with private air conditioned vehicle with driver and English-speaking guide. Separate arrivals and departures will incur extra charges.


Entrance Fees:

All entrance fees to the scenic spots listed in the itinerary. The final arrangement will be determined by private tour guides depends on the real-time local circumstances wheather are beyond the control of Access China Travel. We will adhere to the original itinerary as accurately as possible.


Normal Meals:

All normal meals as the itinerary specified: B = breakfast, L = Lunch, D = dinner in local restaurant. Breakfasts are served in hotel, breakfasts have Chinese or Western style for your option; Lunches are served in carefully selected quality local Chinese restaurants with best service, your lunches will be ordered by your guide catering to your preferences within normal standard. Dinners as the itinerary specified will be also served in local Chinese restaurants. The meal quotation is normalized. If you have any special request about meals, like vegetarian, famous rare dishes, Indian food or more, please inform us in advance. For the unspecified dinners, you will have dinner on your own. Feel free to ask your local guide for suggestions or recommendation.


Private Sightseeing Escort:

Normal sightseeing activities as the itinerary listed will be escorted with English-speaking guide. The English-speaking guide and driver in each city are with you throughout the entire itinerary around that city. They do not fly with you from one city to another.


Hotel Accommodation:

Hotel service criterion: two adults share on one standard twin/double-bed room; solo traveler who want to occupy one twin/double-bed room assigned is required for extra single supplement rate. A single room is available on prior request at an additional cost; if a recommended hotel unavailable, it will be replaced by one of the same class. All hotels as the itinerary listed serve daily western or Chinese breakfast. All rooms are air-conditioned with private facilities unless specified.
