  • Day 1 Arrival in Shanghai

    Welcome to Sichuan. Upon arrival at Shanghai Pudong Airport, your local guide and driver will pick you up to hotel. Then take a free relax nearby.

  • Day 2 Shanghai
    Meals: B, L

    Your full day Shanghai tour starts with a morning visit to the Yu Garden and the Yuyuan Market, Jade Buddha Temple. Proceed to the World Financial Center to get a bird's eye view of Shanghai. Then visit the Shanghai Museum, Shikumen, Old Consession Area and the Bund. Known as a museum of Western architecture, and the nearby Nanjing Road, the No.1 shopping street in China. Enjoy a Chinese Acrobatics Show for your night option.

  • Day 3 Shanghai/Xi'an
    Meals: B, L

    After breakfast at your hotel, your guide will transfer you for a morning flight to Xian, another of China's ancient capitals. Upon arriving in Xian, your local guide will meet you and transfer you to visit the Shaanxi Provincial Museum to see Xian's amazing history. You will then be driven to visit Xian's Ancient Bell Tower, which signaled the time in Xian for centuries.Then enjoy a walk or biking along the top of Xian's Ancient City Wall to get a bird's eye view of this amazing ancient city.

    Option: In the evening you will be taken to an amazing Jiaozi (Dumpling) Feast followed by the Tang Dynasty Show, which bring the pageantry and music of the ancient Tang Dynasty to life.
     

  • Day 4 Xi'an/Lhasa
    Meals: B, L

    After breakfast at your hotel, your guide will meet you and you will be driven to visit the incredible Terracotta Warriors. After Xian tour, you will take a evening flight to Lhasa. Upon arrival, Your guide will meet and escort you to reserved hotel in Lhasa. After checking in, the rest of the day is for you to acclimate to the high altitude and weather of Lhasa. Avoid strenuous physical activities during this first day since that may cause high altitude sickness.  

    Guide Tips:
    1) avoid vigorous activities but do take some leisurely walks in the city to acclimatize to the air and high altitude of Lhasa city (altitude of 3600m);
    2) do not drink liquor in the arrival day, instead plenty of water and fruits are recommended.

  • Day 5 Lhasa
    Meals: B, L

    Pay a morning visit the famous Potala palace and explore the grandest of this myriad chapels. As the symbol of Tibet, it was built in 641 AD and was the winter palace of Dalai Lama who is Tibet's pope. Impressive Tibetan architecture, huge golden Buddha statues, red-robed lamas and devoted pilgrims all make it a must-visit.

     In the afternoon, you'll visit the Jokhang Temple, the spiritual center of Tibet. Every day, pilgrims from every corner of Tibet trek here from long distances to worship. Finally, walk the special circular pilgrimage route as local followers always do at Barkhor Street.

        Tips: 1) wear suitable headgear and glasses to protect you from strong sunlight, but do not wear any hat while visiting inside the Tibetan monasteries; 2) photography is not allowed inside the chapels of monasteries; 3) have your passport with you all of the time. 

  • Day 6 Lhasa
    Meals: B, L

    After breakfast, we start today with a morning visit to the summer palace of the Dalai Lamas and also the largest Tibetan garden – Norbulingka Park. The luxuriant trees and flowers, cool ponds and comfortable palaces make Norbulingka the best place for a summer retreat. Then drive about 5km westward to Drepung Monastery, once the largest Monastery housing 10,000 monks in its heyday.

        If we are very lucky, we may even come across Sera Monastery’s Monks debiting which was held in the courtyard at around 3;00-5:30 in the afternoon. Your tour ends at Sera Monastery.

  • Day 7 Lhasa/Chengdu
    Meals: B, L

    After breakfast, you will take a morning flight to Chengdu. Upon arrival, you will be transfered to visit Chengdu Big Panda Breeding Center, to see lovely Panda. Then a walk around  Kuanzai Alley in Chengdu city

  • Day 8 Chengdu/Leshan/Mt. Emei
    Meals: B, L

    After breakfast, will transfer you to visit Huanglongxi Ancient Town which has 1,700 years of history. Then take bus to Leshan, to see the world's largest stone Giant Buddha.

    Then visit the Lingyun Temple, the ancient Plank Cliff Path and the Stele Forest. After visiting will take bus to Emeishan, stay overnight at the foot of Mount Emei.

  • Day 9 Mt. Emei/Chengdu/Shangri-La
    Meals: B, L

    After breakfast will take cable car up the Mt. Emei. Visit the Wannian Temple. Then walk through Qingyin Pavilion - the biggest natural ecology reserve area for monkeys. Then take the tourist bus down to the foot of the mountain. To visit the Fuhu Temple, one of famous nuns temple. Then you will be transfered back to Chengdu for the flight to Shangrila in Yunnan. When you arrive in Shangrila, will meet you and transfer you to hotel for a rest.

  • Day 10 Shangri-La
    Meals: B, L, D

    After breakfast, will transfer you to visit Songzanlin Monastery, the largest Tibetan Buddhist monastery in Yunnan, also known as Guihua Monastery, is one of the famous monasteries in the Kang region.

    Then go to visit Napa Lake. Napa Hai ("Lake behind the forest") Nature Reserve is a state-designated wetlands area situated some 8 kilometers north of Shangri-La County (Zhongdian County) on the Yunnan -Guizou Plateau in northwestern Yunnan Province.

  • Day 11 Shangri-La/Lijiang
    Meals: B, L

    Today will drive you to Lijiang, about 4 hours on the way. Will go to visit First Bend of Yangtze River and Tiger Leaping Gorge on the way. When you arrive in Lijiang also will visit the Lijiang Ancient town, Walk relax the Sifang Street is good choice.

    First Bend of Yangtze River: The attraction is the Jinshajiang section of the Yangtze, with an elevation of over 1800 meters. The sight is one of the top attractions of Lijiang and the important hub linking the Tiger Leaping Gorge, Laojunshan and Meli Snow Mountain.

    Tiger Leaping Gorge: It is on the Jinsha River of the upper reaches of the Yangtze) is located 105 kilometers south of Zhongdian County. The gorge is 17 kilometers long with a drop of 213 meters.The Tiger Leaping Gorge is divided into three sections: Upper, Middle and Lower Hutiao. At the narrowest spot the river is only 30 meters wide. The mouth of the gorge is 1,800 meters above sea level. The river is flanked by Yulong and Haba snow mountains, with a height difference of 3,900 meters. It is one of the deepest gorges in the world.

  • Day 12 Lijiang/Dali
    Meals: B, L

    After breakfast, you will pay a morning visit to Yuhu Village (Jade Lake Village), where you have overlook view of the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, a holy mountain for the Naxi people that is located 15km north of Lijiang city. Then visit Locke's Former Residence.

    Stroll through Baisha Old Town, which is an enchanting traditional Naxi style old town, where houses Baisha Murals made in succession from the early Ming dynasty to the reign of Emperor Qianlong in the Qing dynasty. These mural paintings, with their fine and smooth lines, bright colors, vivid pattern and balanced and harmonious composition are a wonderful sight. Then will also go to visit Zhiyun Temple. After visiting will driver you about 3 hours to Dali. Overnight on Dali.

  • Day 13 Dali
    Meals: B, L

    Today will visit the Xizhou local morning market in the morning, The go to visit Bai Village, visit the Yan Family. Then go to visit Chongshengsi Three Pagodas and Dali Ancient Town. In the end will drive you around the Erhai Lake, enjoy the beautiful views about Erhai Lake.

  • Day 14 Dali/Kunming
    Meals: B, L
    Visited: Jinli Old Street, Chengdu Giant Panda Base ,

    Transfer you to take morning flight from Dali to Kunming. When you arrive in Kunming, meet you and transfer you directly to visit Stone Forest, enjoy the time in there. After visiting drive back to Kunming city for overnight.

  • Day 15 Kunming/Guilin
    Meals: B, L

    After breakfast, you will take a morning flight to Guilin. Upon your arrival in Guilin, your local guide will meet you and you will be driven to your hotel. Then visit Elephant Hill, Reef Flute Cave.

  • Day 16 Guilin/Yangshuo
    Meals: B, L

    After breakfast at your hotel, your guide will meet you and you will be driven to the Zhujiang Pier (40 minutes), where you will begin your Li River Cruise from Guilin to Yangshuo. The scenery along the Li River is often referred to as the most beautiful under heaven. Upon docking in Yangshuo, your guide will escort you to your hotel. After checking in, you will be taken down Yangshuo's famous West Street, known for its shops, bars, and eateries. In the evening you will dine on Yangshuo's amazing Li River Beer Fish. After dinner you will be transfer back to Guilin Hotel for rest.

    Option: In the evening you are free to choose to witness the spectacle of Impressions of Liusanjie (Third Sister Liu) performance. The Performance, created by Zhang Yimou, China premiere movie director and director of the Beijing Olympics' Opening Ceremony, is made up of hundreds of people and is performed on the Li River with the mountains as the backdrop. It is an unforgettable experience.

  • Day 17 Yangshuo/Longsheng
    Meals: B, L

    Enjoy a morning biking along the Yulong River to see the poetic natural scenery of Yangshuo's countryside; the paddy field and orchards that surround the famous mountains willgive a fascinating insight into life in rural China. on the way, you can pay a visit to the local farmer's family.
     
    An afternoon drive (about 2.5 hours) from Yanghuo to Longji Rice Terraces. And then you will enjoy the dusk view of rice terraces around Zhuang and Yao minority villages.  The terraces look like ribbons as they wind from the foot to the top of some hills. The villages feature traditional architecture where no nails are used in construction. The different minority customs and dress are especially interesting.

  • Day 18 Longsheng/Guilin/Hong Kong
    Meals: B, L

    Enjoy a morning visit to Huangluo Yao Village to meet long-hair wowen and watch the ethnic performance.  You will be transfered back to Guilin airport for the afternoon flight to Hong Kong. Upon arrival, you will meet you local guide and be transfered to chechk in the hotel. The rest of day for you to explore the city on your own.

  • Day 19 Hong Kong
    Meals: B, L

    After breakfast, you will be driven to Central for your tram ride up to Victoria Peak, which will give you a fantastic bird's eye view of Hong Kong. After a little bit rest, head to the famous Wong Tai Sin Temple where old beliefs and traditions survive in this modern city. Then proceed to visit Aberdeen where you will see an entire community living on small houseboats as they have for centuries, or to visit Lantau Island for Big Buddha and Da'ao Fishing Village.   

    Then you will go to the romantic beach of Repulse Bay and explore the Stanley Market to find some of your favorite souvenirs for your family or friends, where is the most luxurious section of Hong Kong.  

  • Day 20 Hong Kong Departure

    A morning relax until leaving for your flight to next destination.

Breakfasts are served in hotel, breakfasts have Chinese or Western style for your option; Lunches are served in carefully selected quality local Chinese restaurants with best service, your lunches will be ordered by your guide catering to your preferences within normal standard. Dinners as the itinerary specified will be also served in local Chinese restaurants. The meal quotation is normalized. If you have any special request about meals, like vegetarian, famous rare dishes, Indian food or more, please inform us in advance. For the unspecified dinners, you will have dinner on your own. Feel free to ask your local guide for suggestions or recommendation.


Private Sightseeing Escort:

Normal sightseeing activities as the itinerary listed will be escorted with English-speaking guide. The English-speaking guide and driver in each city are with you throughout the entire itinerary around that city. They do not fly with you from one city to another.

Hotel service criterion: two adults share on one standard twin/double-bed room; solo traveler who want to occupy one twin/double-bed room assigned is required for extra single supplement rate. A single room is available on prior request at an additional cost; if a recommended hotel unavailable, it will be replaced by one of the same class.
