On November 2nd, C919 airliner, the first civilian aircraft in accordance with the latest international airworthiness standards researched and developed in China, unveiled its secret veil. Many of its elements, including the nose, are manufactured in Sichuan.

　　Different from the format of traditional nose, namely 2 pieces of glass in the front and 4 pieces of windshield side glass , the nose of C919 airliner reduces 2 pieces of side glass to make it more streamline and less resistance, which becomes the highlight of C919 in appearance. From the feasibility research of the program in 2008 to the rolling of first airliner nose in late July in Chengdu, Chengdu Aircraft Industrial Co. Ltd. of Aviation Industry Corporation of China has spent 6 years and broken the technology bottlenecks including the manufacturing of dormant skeleton parts, the forming of titanium alloy skin parts, and other key manufacturing technologies.

　　Apart from the nose, the research of the avionics system including the communication navigation system and cabin central control system and so on has been done by CETC Avionics located in Chengdu Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone. These systems are like the eyes, mouth, and nervous system of the airliner.
